Patrick Quinton-Smith
Patrick (29) has already built a rich and varied career with over a decade of experience – from leading teams in start-ups and working internationally, to consulting for global businesses and even launching and selling a successful events company while still at university.
His journey into coaching began six years ago, after facing serious challenges in his first graduate role at Europe’s fastest-growing start-up. He was ready to quit – but a coach, hired by the company, completely changed his path. He ended up staying another 3.5 years, getting promoted eight times, and leading multiple high-performing Gen Z teams – including one with 240 people that collected £8.3 million in under a year.
That experience sparked his passion for coaching and lit a fire to help other businesses, and their young people, achieve the same kind of transformation.
Today, Patrick is a certified leadership trainer and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) – a qualification equivalent to ILM Level 7. He also has additional training in mental fitness, transformational coaching, team dynamics, and career development.
Over the past four years, Patrick has delivered 750+ hours of coaching – helping over 200 Gen Z professionals grow in confidence and performance, while supporting their managers to lead thriving multigenerational teams.
Patrick learned firsthand that when people are truly supported to grow, they can reach their potential – and businesses thrive. That experience became his mission. Co-founding Gen Z Coach is how he’s driving it forward.
